Aurora's Finest: The Alluring Baler

BALER, AURORA - I guess the province of Aurora is indeed a seductive one. This is the second time I get to visit the province (first one being Dingalan, Aurora) and first time stepping foot in Baler, which is way more famous than Dingalan.

Diguisit Beach Baler, Aurora 2023

The long zigzag road of Mount Aurora makes you dizzy more than Baguio does. I should know since I've been a frequent visitor of Baguio for several years. Yet, this long winding road paired with great skilled driving of the bus driver of JoyBus Premiere, makes it more interesting though. We came in a time where its rainy season and I say that it's been burdensome.

Post Pandemic Trip: Back To Bangkok, Thailand

I wanted this blog to be short and concise. But let's see, I'm a bit excited sharing our story of our recent trip to Bangkok, and it happens to become our second time around.

Goodbye, IO horror stories LOL

I uploaded a vlog about this now and named it as "revenge trip" to Thailand. I don't know though, probably because we promised to get back to the country ASAP. And since pandemic stopped the world for two years, it became a reality. And Thailand so far is the first Asian country to open it's borders to everyone, making it an attractive destination.

Anyway, here we go. Our second time in Bangkok, Thailand!

Spontaneous Trip to Bangkok Thailand

2019 has been nice to me. That year gave me another reason to smile, and gave me an important boost spiritually. I've been fighting depression (not clinically diagnosed) for the past couple of months and having to travel again on a far away land made me feel loved all over again. Not to mention that I traveled once again with my mom for this spontaneous trip, both of us benefited on this.

Why call it spontaneous? Yes, it's not planned for a year, but it was planned just two (2) months. We were able to book a cheap flight via Cebu Pacific Air going to Bangkok last August 2019. This is the first time we're doing this because we're mostly fond of planning a year ahead. Especially on an international trip, which is risky.

For the record, Bangkok, or Thailand itself was never in my bucket list. I never wanted to go there, because I know upon research that it was quite similar to Manila. Scams are rampant, some people saying that the locals are very similar to Filipinos. Neither of this I cannot tell as of the moment during pre-planning, because at the back of my head one thing that I kept reminding myself that we should not be scammed.

Working For Yourself and Future

I've been contemplating a lot these past few days.. Tinkering some ideas -- most of all a path for my future, and my over all life.

Every now and then, I get to browse and read a lot of articles mostly about life. I've been carefully examining myself (tbh) if I have a lot of flaws by the way I interact, the way I socialize, the way I look at things and events -- in short, my perspective.

Dingalan Aurora Escapade: Batanes Of The East

We always knew that whenever we hear the province of Aurora, we automatically remember its famous surf spot, Baler. Last April 23, we get the chance to venture one of Aurora's unexplored wonders, Dingalan -- which was now termed as "Batanes of the East".

Visiting Kamay Ni Hesus

It was a spontaneous trip, nonetheless. But it's something worth while, because visiting the Quezon Province is not something me and my family do most of the time. I've personally been to Lucban once since 2000's.
