Visiting Kamay Ni Hesus

It was a spontaneous trip, nonetheless. But it's something worth while, because visiting the Quezon Province is not something me and my family do most of the time. I've personally been to Lucban once since 2000's.

Kamay Ni Hesus - Lucban, Quezon

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, when we set off to Kamay Ni Hesus  in the morning. We took off at around 6 in the morning and arrived at Kamay Ni Hesus at around 9 in the morning.

We intend to join the healing mass to be spearheaded by famous healing priest Fr. Joey Faller. It was my first time to go to Kamay Ni Hesus, and I was already fascinated by the environment surrounding it. Of course, it was really relaxing in the eyes to see a lot of 'greenery' as we approach the place. The air itself is soothing as it eliminates the toxic air brought by the daily grinds in the city.

I was surprised also by the sheer number of tourists who dropped by the holy place most probably took off earlier than us. Before the mass started, I get to ask a married couple some information from where they came from and why did they wanted to go there. We had similar answers and probably, it could be the same as the other visitors.

I only attended two healing masses throughout my lifetime. But this one is different. The environment provided a much relaxing experience and the serenity of the place seems to contribute for feeling the holy spirit. The healing mass commences, and it was really something. Fr. Joey Faller, is a really good healing priest.

Right after the mass, Mama and I managed to squeeze a little time to try Lucban original Pancit Luglug. I tried the original since early 2000's. So, mama and I did a little walk in the vicinity, and stumbled down the church "canteen". There, we ordered one Pancit Luglug just for the both of us.

Soon as the healing mass is totally over (because there are sessions), the whole gang joined us for a little break,

After an hour of meryenda and a little rest, it's time for us to endure the 300+ steps of Kamay Ni Hesus. The famous statue situated on top of the hill.

Reached the pinnacle of the climb!

It was relaxing and the air just blows with no intention of stopping anytime soon. We feel so blessed as we rested on top. We spent 30 minutes to rest and right after, we descended. The people are piling up as the day goes.

When we left Kamay Ni Hesus, we took a short trip inside the town of Lucban. We never had the chance to disembark, because it was already past noon. Then we took our lunch at the original Palaisdaan in Lucban.

Hope you enjoyed reading my very short story about this trip!
