Cycling Diary: Crossing Carmona River

A typical day to do some early morning ride and exercise. We decided to push through one route that'll lead us directly (shortcut) to Nuvali.

BUT

With some extremes using our beloved rides. And we did.

THUG LIFE

We had our previous ride posted here. Then here's our 2nd time.

We decided to take on a different route which is the Davilan trail to Nuvali -- regarded by most bicycle riders as the easiest route to Nuvali.

We followed the trail which leads to Carmona River (via Google Maps). This Davilan route is different from the known uphill Davilan climb.

The end of the trail will lead you to some houses. Of course as courtesy, we greet them with smiles and some "Good morning po!".

We're lucky to have timed our ride with a low tide. Since it was that scorching hot, there are no signs of rain, the water from the river seems palpable and can be crossed without worries or hesitation, we took time to have fun with the river taking a time off dipping in the pristine water, and some fun photos as we took our rides to a great river crossing photo shoot.

My turn!

Rock and Roll to the World!

And we saw these kids. They told me to take some pictures of them -- which I did.

Jump shot!
After 30 minutes, we decided to depart and resumed crossing the river. It was fun! And another trail surprised us. It was a breathtaking scenery overlooking Makiling on the left and Davilan hill at the right.

And we continued our journey to Nuvali. It's getting hot though.

At last we arrived! It is indeed a short ride to Nuvali compared to Langkiwa-Timbao road. We exit the trail and lead us to Palma Real Estates.

Again, to cap off the hot morning ride, we took the time to eat a simple breakfast to fill our empty morning stomachs. Photo taken at a carinderia in Langkiwa-Timbao road.

Stay tuned for my another cycling adventure!
