The Asian Institute of Management hosted the 1st G|Philippines event. A promising local endorsement of Google products here in the Philippines.

From Advertisers, PR related companies, IT-based, BPO's, KPO's - down to bloggers, social networking people, internet-savvy - or plain user of the Internet - are the ones to attend this Google related activity.
Google - as far as we know, is the most dominant Search Engine (compare to Yahoo! and Bing) to be used by local marketers and even simple of all simplest people. They use Google as their top priority to begin with searching of what's hot, location, and other knowledge needed websites.
Me, myself had never knew that our company is part of the Google Engage program. The company where I work with right now is somewhat related to Google, for we are the ones to do their advertising needs in terms of Rich Media Development, Campaign Management and a lot more. Although, we have a lot of other clients to cater with.

Responsible for the thing called "Google Classroom" which bound to happen by September 24-28 (venue to be announced) we, the representatives of it's Marketing activities for the said event, joined g|philippines and has given away leaflets for those who are interested tojoin.
G|Philippines event was indeed a blast. Great number of people attended the said event. Most of the speakers are true Googlers themselves, representing their various field of Google product expertise.
These Google products that they are promoting are gauged in the preliminary process of online marketing. A basic strategy which is now being applied by small - to - big companies to either increase their product and band visibility through the Internet. Google itself, as a completely dynamic in control of the web traffic and search rankings endeavors, made great impact during the event.
Also, some of the topics discussed during the event was the impact created by new online marketing avenues used by the people nowadays which is Mobile, Application development, YouTube integration.. and other below-the-line resources pertaining to the new wave of social marketing.
What's best during the event? I think it's the part where Online Advertising is discussed.Through pre-advertising, to advertising placements, to post-advertising (usage of Google AdWords) trying to engage everybody through the means of statistical analysis, which is basically the use of Google Analytics.
G|Philippines has indeed make a great appearance in the country, at the right place and at the right time.
